Masters of the Universe!

So we've just gotten our masters for the album back from our homie Tom at Shotgun Audio and they sound amazing! Shit has been on repeat for the last 3 hours LOL! He really did his thing and brought out the best in the tracks. We definitely recommend his services if you are in need of mixing and mastering for your works.

That puts us one step closer to finally getting this joint out to the public, and it means it will be in your hands before you know it. Again, I wanna say thanks to all of the artists involved in the project: 2Mex, Hezekiah, Keziah, E Major, Illy Emcee, Nightwalker, That Ese Hectic, Tislam the Great, EQ, Mzery, Johnny Free, Mello Paul, MC Messiah, T Gunner, Absoloot, Tom & Mike from Shotgun, Danrok for his visuals, Mike & George for some great pics, Charge Clothing for the clothing, and of course all of you who pay attention for paying attention.

As we wrap up wrapping up, we'll let you know what is going on and when exactly you can expect the actual release, and of course the party.

Until next time...

Drum & Bass bidness

So we just got back from a trip to Philly to see our homie Tom at Shotgun Audio. He's a part of the Philly D&B production crew The Brigade with our boy Illy Emcee, and also one of the 2 engineers on our album. If anybody ever needs mixing or mastering done, they are our go to guys.

So, our reason for going up there this time was to knock out a remix for a local Baltimore artist, Zakia Sahar, and her "Kiss Song". The joint turned out absolutely marvelous, and we'll have a little clip up once everything is properly mixed.

On the hip hop front, we're just wrapping up all of the tracks for our first mixtape, which is gonna feature a whole shit bunch of remixes as well as some original jams from our upcoming projects. It will be mixed by DJ Impulse, who we know will do it up nicely! We're getting all of our projects wrapped up in time for the summer, so you should be hearing a lot more from us soon, and actually be able to have some official releases in your hands.

Hella Busy...

As always haha! Maaaad things going on with us as per the usual.

Our project with E Major is past the recording phase now, and we have moved on to getting everything laid out properly and mixed. It's gonna be a great project, and I can't wait 'til everybody can hear it! Your ears will have to wait a bit though, because we are looking to get some planets aligned so we can get it out to the masses in a proper fashion. Trying to make things happen!

We're also working on getting our mixtape finalized. We've got tons of remixes and some jams y'all may or may not have heard that will be included, and we'll be featuring the one and only DJ Impulse on the 1's & 2's.

Stay tuned for some more news coming soon, even though I seem to only update once a month or so. Really gotta work on that.

Until next time...P

Not a sports fan really, but good luck to The Ravens today as they try to get to the Super Bowl. This town gets pretty crazy about their football!

Long time...

If you haven't checked the myspace, we've got some pretty dope remixes up there including Kev Brown's "Say Somethin'" & Lupe Fiasco's "I Gotcha". In the last post (a long, long, long, long time ago...), I mentioned a mixtape we'll be putting together. It will feature some material from "Sex, Drugs & Chopped Up Soul", a lot of remixes, and some other things we've been brewing up. The EPNT EP is near completion, and I must say it is coming along splendidly! I think everyone is gonna be really pleased with this one. We're working on getting some photoshoots in for the artwork, and a very, very good chance you'll see at least one video from the joint as well. We seem to work so well together, we've tacked a few more tracks on, so now this is turning into an EXTENDED EP! HOLY SHIT!! THAT'S RIGHT!! AN EXTENDED EP!!!! Also be on the lookout for some more work with all the Bmore fam real soon, and be sure to stop by BMore Original and Undersound Music to check out what's going on with them. Big things on the horizons...

Oh yea, I almost forgot. Want to say thanks to Charge Clothing in the UK for the shirts. They've got some real dope designs, so if you wear shirts, you should check them out.

I'll try to update a little more often haha.

New Interview!

Check us out on Bmore Original Radio with the legendary DJ Excel. Covers a lot of what's going on with us and some tunes as well. Big thanks to DJ Excel for having us come through.

And since we haven't updated on here in a little bit, gotta give y'all a little rundown of the new business. The EPNT album is definitely underway. We've got a couple of tracks laid down and the rest are in the rapping phase now. E Major just returned from celebrating his birthday in England and France, so some more things should be popping out soon.

We did a track with The Action Figures, and the shit turned out fire! As soon as we get the final mix, we'll post it up on the Myspace.

Also, we're getting stuff together for some mixtape action to drop soon, so be on the lookout for that. And of course doing some other things with some other people that i would rather not speak on publicly yet, but it'll be some more classic collabo type of shit. Other than that, we're just trying to get the artwork for the album wrapped up and that finally dropped. But we'll be putting some things out soon to wet your tastebuds.

Summo Bidness...

Illy Emcee's "Raiders of the Lost Ark" mixtape is complete and now available!

text

Be sure to check it out!! It's got a few songs from "Sex, Drugs & Chopped Up Soul", including our first single "Quality Control", featuring Keziah, Hezekiah & Illy. It also features some blazing remixes from Illy's debut, "Living In The Moment", and a bunch of unreleased stuff.

It will soon be available on iTunes & CDBaby, but also be sure to drop in to Pedestrian Clothing (PedX) if you're in the Philly area to pick up a copy and support the homies. We will also have "Quality Control" featured on the PedX mixtape that should be available sometime in August, which will also feature our dude E Major. Aaaaand...you can also find E's clothing brand, "Dumb Heavy", available there as well.

And as always, we're beginning some new things and wrapping up some old things, all the while maintaining the here and now. We started a little side project with this cat Ian J from York, PA. It's kind of a dub/hip hop mix, and is gonna be some good ass chill music. Dude's vocal range is amazing, and he's got a lot of drive, so you'll be hearing something a little different from the normal Heroes sound soon. He's featured on Paradise Movement's album "Freshman 15", and really impressed us, so we couldn't help but try to get outside of the box and work with him. Should be some really fun stuff.

Still more news coming, and of course the album and such...stay tuned!
